I just came out of a long "Live Chat" with Vinayak, and then Rashmitha. Problem still unsolved.
I cannot access any of my PAID for Adobe Creative Cloud products (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc etc), the night before an urgent project is due. The only help the folks on the Live Chat can give me is "I will escalate the case to our relevant department who will check with the issue and get back to you via email within 2-3 business days". 2-3 DAYS! Talk about an argument for not buying any mission critical software online!
I purchased access to the FULL Creative Cloud package last month (July 3). Received Confirmation emails for both the order itself, and also for the first month's payment. However, when I just tried to log in today (after coming back from a trip) to download the software, my Account page was blank (or rather, it listed my "Free" Creative Cloud Account, with a link to Purchase!).
If I didn't need to use the software tonight, the Live Chat could have been funny. "Vinayak" thought I was logging in with a wrong email address. Despite my forwarding the text from the confirmation emails from Adobe to him...
Thank God for the confirmation emails. Otherwise, the two customer service reps wouldn't have believed I actually have PAID FOR the CC services. Which I cannot use.
I suspect the problem happened when I got the first customer service rep (from last month) who walked me through the purchase online (a certain "Ajeet") to change my Account "Country" (I wasn't able to use my credit card as my Adobe ID account had originally been set up many years ago in another country). I was able to see the products in my account page initially, but they subsequently disappeared. In fact, all my old purchases from earlier years (CS5,6 etc) have all also disappeared...
Anybody with similar experiences and any advice? Thanks in advance...
