Re: Streaming video in interactive pdf

Oh boy.  Well, that explains a lot.  (insert big sigh here)

Ok, may I ask for a second-best scenario?  Since I know that my client is not going to go purchase the Adobe Media Server at this point...

Is there another way to simply pull it from a website instead of embedding it?  Just by simply being interactive, my file is quite "heavy" already, and I don't even have the video's in there.

I already tried to put a teeny-tiny little video hidden in the bottom (see, I read your posts!) with the URL specified, and the Play button (from InD) set up to start it.
However:

     1) it took a little bit of time for it to start - I'm afraid my end users will keep clicking since it appears nothing is happening, and that's how end-users solve that...

     2) it was up off the page, not centered even remotely

     3) and my controller doesn't look nearly as nice as one of yours I saw!  In fact, I would say mine looks nasty, with a teeny-tiny little x hidden to close it

     4) and when I did close it, it seemed that the whole document stalled while it closed.

Again, any help would be appreciated, and thanks so much already for the help you've given!!
