I have a submit button on a quiz - I changed the text to read, "next," and changed the look of the button. I need this exact button in the exact place on every slide - there appears to be no way to do this. I cannot seem to make it work by using a masterslide, I have to manually go into every single slide and make the changes individiually, and that has it's own set of issues, (such as reflections not going away when I click the button to make them disappear), or the lack of knowing exactly where something is placed because there are no X and Y coordinates.
The "next" button that comes with the Captivate quiz does not do the "submit" function. I do not want both a "submit" button and a "next" button. I want one button to perform both tasks of submitting an answer for grading, and then going to the next slide. I had training a few weeks ago and in that class we were able to fully customize and set things (such as customized buttons) in place on every single slide. Do it once, set it, and then you know it's the same button in the same spot on every slide. I don't know why I cannot perform this simple task, and yes, it is extremely frustrating, especially when I find forums with the same issues I am having that go back several years and several versions.
