Cannot update header and footer on Acrobat X Standard

Hello,

I'm having a problem updating the header and footer of a PDF file in Acrobat X. When I try to update the header and footer, Acrobat freezes (not responding) to the point that I have to go to task manager and kill the process. Do you guys know how to resolve this issue.
