Re: Crop a photo to 942 x 1200 with white bg but not cropping the picture inside it

Use Image Size to resample down to 924 x 924, then Canvas Size to add back. Set vertical size to 1200, uncheck relative, leave anchor point centered, canvas extension color white.

A simple two-step action.
