Thanks TMan. I'm going to call Adobe Support this morning, which will probably take 1.25 - 2.5 hours, which is what usually happens when I call Adobe for anything, even ordering... and I will ask them why I still have several CS6 files on my system despite uninstalling it, and find out how to remove it completely so I can reinstall. I'm thinking maybe I need to do a defrag first. They system is just slow and feels fragmented.
I will try to post conclusions after I've reached them so that anyone else who might have this problem in the future can find them.
