I haver been a pro Photoshop photo retoucher for MANY years, but very new to animation -esp with Photoshop.
I have experimented with some basic animations using layered still images, and I see the tools are mostly intuitive, precise and powerful. But I don't see much in the way of Animation Tutorials. The offerings on Adobe TV don't seem to cover much in the way of animation, and what's there is poorly indexed. I see that you can transform layer masks over time (a powerful feature that opens a lot of creative possibilities) but searching that specific task (Using the interface term: "Layer Mask Position" produced almost no results even in the online user guide. I got a few Google hits, but nothing for Photoshop CC. I hope I don't have to rely on youtube and Lynda.com for info on every new feature.
This is actually a very general question (I have typically solved all photoshop questions on my own) Now that Photoshop offers fairly advanced tools for 3D and animation it would be helpful to find a broader range of training tutorials. But perhaps I'm just missing something? Maybe the new paradigm is to find all user guidance from Google/youtube and pay to play sites like Lynda.com?
Thanks in advance
