Jon, Thanks for your attention to this.  I did check on the validator.  There were a couple of suggestions but I don't think they were serious enough to cause the problem. The items that appear in the wrong place are pic1, pic2, pic 3 and the menu if you want to check my site.  It is almost impossible to add images and words to those divs because when, for instance, I add an image and try to hit enter to place words under the image nothing happens. Also when I try to add a border around the image via css everything gets worse. The site location where the design view doesn't work correctly (html seems correct though) is www.oldeworldelace.com/singleproduct.dwt.  I would really like to have you or anyone else that could make suggestions take a look.
