Hi, I am trying to author my first bluray program on Encore. I have exported my 1280x720 59.94 picture file from FCP7 via Compressor as an H264 file. Also exported audio file as 48KHz 16bit .wav file. Import as assets into Encore. The picture file is 1:53:25:21 in length; the audio file is 1:53:32:15 in length. The difference in file lengths happens to be 1:1.001 The timeline slips out of picture/audio sync throughout the show until the picture runs out about 7 seconds before the audio.
Of course, I have spent several hours looking through FCP and Encore settings, read two dozen websites, tried various things, but the two files still come out different lengths.
If I export an mp2 picture file and dolby digital file from FCP and import them into an Encore DVD project, both files are 1:53:32:15 in length; in the NLE, their lengths are 1:53:25:21
